misalignment of one or more of the twenty-four (24) moveable bones of
the spine, which may lead to interference of normal nerve, function.
They are commonly caused by stressed and impacts to the body from poor
posture, poor sleeping habits, slips and falls, vehicular accidents,
sport injuries, strenuous exercise, work injuries, childhood falls,
even birth process. Subluxation could cause dangerous stress to the
spinal cord and the delicate nerve roots. This causes irritation to
the nerves and interferes with their ability to function properly.
Though serious even in their early stages, subluxation are often not

The
Principles of Chiropractic |
|
| |
Stimulate the body self-healing and self-regulating system
The nervous system controls and coordinates all of bodily
functions.
Any interference with the nerve system inhibits the body’s
ability to regulate and heal itself.
Interference to the nerve system is most commonly caused by
misalignment of the bones of the spine called “subluxation.”
“Subluxation” are most often caused by slips and falls, car
accidents, stress, poor posture, poor sleep habits, sport
injuries, birth process, etc.
Maintaining a healthy and well-aligned spine enhances the body’s
ability to stay well
